DESCRIPTION:Please enjoy these trail highlights from September 19-26th at the Freeman lake Trail. The Freeman Lake Trail\, a 5 mile scenic trail in the middle of Elizabethtown. A very popular trail that is routinely enjoyed by hikers\, runners and cyclists who enjoy physical activity\, nature and fresh air. An outstanding natural area\, great for birdwatching\, native flowers\, and trees along the trail. Easily accessed at several locations and interconnects with Pirtle Nature Trail\, General Braddock Creek Loop\, Claysville Loop and the John Helm Trail. A variety of wildlife is seen here.

DESCRIPTION:Please enjoy these trail highlights from October 8th  at the Cave Spring Trail. The Cave Spring Trail\, is a .43 mile shaded scenic trail that connects Buffalo Lake Trail\, Haycraft Trail and downtown Elizabethtown. Along Buffalo Creek is the historic Cave Spring from which the water supply was critical to the historic early town settlement. This spring also supplied water to the pioneer Haycraft Fort\, and later to the Civil War camp\, Camp Haycraft.
